Features & Releases

Sysrev API: Many improvements have been made which increase the capabilities and usability of the Sysrev API. Contact us about Sysrev Enterprise to learn more (support@sysrev.com)

Article Removal: Project admins are now able to remove individual articles, and their data, from the Review pipeline, data visualizations, and exports. Articles can be un-removed (Activated) by Project Admins at any time.

To remove an article, access the Article's page and click the "Active in Review" icon.

Once selected, the following warning will appear to ensure the removal was intended. 

Removed articles can be accessed via the Sources panel. 

Click (view) to access a hidden filter for removed articles.

Deselect the removal icon to re-activate the article:

The following message will appear once the article has been successfully re-activated. 

Auto-label Report - Performance by User vs Performance by Label: Previously, the Auto-label Report was unclear in the data it was showing. To remove this ambiguity, the Report now differentiates between Performance by User, which compares Auto-labeler answers to each user's answers across all labels, and Performance by Label, which compares the Auto-labeler answers to any users' answer for a given label. 

Enterprise Improvements

  • Premium for all Enterprise users: Enterprise users now have access to all Premium features regardless of whether a project is owned by the Enterprise or by the user. Previously, projects needed to be owned by the Enterprise in order for the project and its members to use Premium features. 
  • Member-specific billing: Enterprise users are now able to buy, access, and use credits for any project for which they are a Project Owner. 

New PDF Viewer: Sysrev now uses the open-source PDF Viewer "PDF.js".

Import Dates: The Sources Tab now includes the date on which each source was imported into a project. To see the date, hover over the file name on the Sources Tab.

General Site Improvements

  • Performance analytics and infrastructure improvements: General upkeep and modernization to improve site performance and stability.
  • Sunset legacy label editor: The legacy label editor has been removed.
  • Project tabs reorganization: The User tab has been removed as a top-level tab and now sits underneath the Manage tab. 

Bugs & Defects

Bulk PDF Import Failure: a defect was fixed whereby Sysrev was not properly importing a selection of multiple PDFs (as opposed to a zip file) for automatic attachment to existing articles

Review tab inaccessible to new project members: a defect was fixed whereby new project members were unable to access the Review tab.

Persisting label panel: a defect was fixed whereby the label panel would persist within the application even after the user had navigated away from the Review module.

Sysrev Prediction Model time-out: a defect was fixed whereby any failure in the Sysrev Prediction Model training or prediction would cause the feature to time-out. Moving forward, the module will automatically reprocess any failure until completion. 

Slow Multi-Filtered Review: a defect was fixed whereby performing a Filtered Review on a complex filter (specifically using an Auto-labeler filter AND a prediction model filter) would cause a slow-down on the Review Module. 

Group Label Failure: a defect was fixed whereby the Auto-labeler would fail for any Group label where a Child label contained a "/" in its Name.
