FAQs
How much does Sysrev cost?
Creating public projects is free and will remain free. We are doing this to encourage open and collaborative research across organizations. Private projects require a paid monthly subscription. For more information about pricing, see our Pricing page.
Can I invite individuals from outside of my Organization and will they have access to the premium features?
Yes! As long as the owner of the project has a Premium or Enterprise account, anyone who is a member of the project will be able to access the premium features of Sysrev for that project.
Is there a limit to the number of projects I can set up?
No. Basic, Premium, and Enterprise accounts can create an unlimited number of projects.
What happens if I no longer have access to a Premium or Enterprise account?
If you downgrade your account to Basic, or lose access to an Enterprise account, you will still have access to your public projects in Sysrev. Any private projects will be preserved and will stay private, but they will be inaccessible to you. If you anticipate losing access to premium services, we suggest that you make sure any projects you need access to are made public.
How much does it cost to run the Auto-labeler?
It is not possible to exactly calculate the cost of running the Auto-labeler per se. The cost is based on the number of records that will be labeled, how many labels are activated, the amount of text in each record, and the current costs for using OpenAI's GPT API. However, if you filter your articles to only those records you intend to label and ensure that your label's auto label settings are correct (see the How to use the Auto-labeler page for more information about auto label settings), the Auto-labeler will provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost for that set of articles and labels.
Is my data made available to OpenAI for model training when I use the Auto-labeler?
No. The data fed into the Auto-labeler is not used for model development or improvement. For more information about data security and privacy, visit our Data Security & Privacy page.
How frequently are new features added to the site?
Our development team is constantly adding new functionality and improving the use of the site. Most new features will be announced in the Updates section of our Help pages (found by clicking on the blue question mark in the lower right hand corner of any Sysrev page).
Something isn't working as I expect it to. Who do I contact about a potential software issue?
Frequently, errors can be resolved by refreshing the page, or by logging out and logging back in. If this doesn't work, you can use the Report Issue button on the upper right hand corner of any page in your Sysrev project. This will send your error report, as well as a link to your project, to the technical team at Sysrev who will work to address it. You can also email support@sysrev.com with any questions you have about Sysrev.
How to I credit Sysrev in my publications?
If you are using Sysrev for your research, please indicate this in the methodology section of any publications. For public projects, you can also include the URL to your project’s overview page.
Example: To begin this review, relevant articles were identified, annotated, and labeled using Sysrev. This Sysrev project, including all reviewed articles and labels, can be found at https://sysrev.com/p/3144.
